Discover the unique history, scenery and exquisite cuisine of Jersey

 Kort over Jersey og Guernsey

Jersey, together with Guernsey, Sark, Herm and Alderney, form the Channel Islands off the French coast. They are under the English crown, but not part of the United Kingdom, nor are they part of the EU.

The island is about 20 km off the coast of Normandy and is about 15 km long and 8 km wide. It is an ideal destination whether you want a romantic vacation, active experiences, gastronomy or fun with the family.

Jersey's nature is characterized by the tide with up to 10 meters difference between ebb and flow. Therefore, the sea is of great importance for fishing in Jersey.

Transportation & Driving on Jersey

With LibertyBus you can get from the airport to St. Helier station in about 25 minutes. The bus also drives to the sights of the island and a ticket costs around 2 pounds.

You can also rent a car, just remember; you drive on the left side as in England. On the whole island there is a speed limit of max. 65 km / h - on many of the narrow side roads even slower.

It is also possible to rent bicycles, or hike and enjoy nature at a slower pace.
